Peony Bowl of Beauty – Pink/Yellow
What: this Peony features bold lightly-scented semi-double rose cup-shaped flowers with buttery yellow eyes and creamy white anthers at the ends of the stems from late spring to early summer. Known botanically as Paeonia ‘Bowl Of Beauty’, its flowers are excellent for cutting, and its compound leaves remain green throughout the season.
Best use: Bowl of Beauty Peony is best suited to mass planting and general garden use. It is a relatively low maintenance plant that should be cut back in late fall in preparation for winter. Deer don’t particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone in favor of tastier treats.
