Q: How do I know how much delivery will cost?
A: Kakwa bags ordered from our online store have free delivery within the city of Grande Prairie. Call for an estimate for deliveries outside of the city limits. The cost will vary due to factors such as distance, delivery complexity or specific site conditions.
Q: Can you deliver pallets?
A: Yes! We deliver pallets using our picker truck. However, pallet placement is limited to the truck’s picker arm reach, which is a maximum of 16 feet, depending on the pallet’s weight.
Q: Can I get a specific delivery time?
A: Due to the nature of our operations, we can’t guarantee exact delivery times. We will, however, provide you with an estimated delivery window.
Q: What if I'm not home for delivery?
A: No problem! Simply provide us with detailed drop instructions. You can mark the desired location with a flag or tarp, and our drivers will place the product there. Please ensure there’s adequate space for our trucks and inform us of any obstacles like overhead power lines, fences, or buildings.
Q: What about liability for property damage during delivery?
A: For safety and liability reasons, our drivers won’t back across concrete drives, sidewalks, or enter your property until the invoice (release form) is signed. You are financially responsible for any damage to property or equipment during the delivery. We cannot drop bags over fences in garages, or near overhead powerlines. We will not drive over septic systems or fields under any circumstances.
Q: How do road bans affect delivery?
A: During road ban season, our truck load capacity may be reduced to comply with local regulations.
Q: Does Kakwa Stone offer installation services?
