Quickfire Hydrangea
What: Quickfire Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata ‘Monlo’) is one of the earliest blooming panicle hydrangeas, producing spectacular white flower heads that transition to deep pink and rose as the season progresses. This exceptionally hardy shrub blooms reliably on new wood every year, making it perfect for Alberta gardens.
Best use: Ideal as a specimen shrub, in mass plantings, or mixed borders where its dramatic flower display can be showcased. Quickfire Hydrangea also provides excellent cut flowers for fresh arrangements, while the dried flower heads offer winter interest in the garden and can be harvested for dried floral displays.
